Meet Our Dentists

Dr. Simon grew up and received his early education in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia. He graduated from Dalhousie University with a Bachelor of Science Degree and his Dental Degree in 1990.

Dr. Simon opened his first practice in Newmarket in 1991. Eight years later he opened the much larger and professionally designed Simon Dental Centre. This facility supports all services and facets of family, cosmetic, and specialty dentistry. He has previously taught at the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry and held privileges with the Department of Surgery at York Central Hospital, where he assisted with major Oral Maxillofacial Surgery including jaw fracture, jaw reconstruction, and correction of dental facial deformities.

Dr. Simon is active in the community, supporting charity fundraisers and sponsoring local sports teams.

Dr. Monica attended York University for her undergraduate studies and completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry. Her goal is to provide exceptional dental treatment while helping her patients feel comfortable in the dental chair.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Monica enjoys spending time outdoors and cooking classic Italian meals with her family. She is creating a cookbook to capture her family recipes for future generations, and looks forward to spending time in the lovely community of Newmarket.
