Removable Dentures

A denture is a removable replacement for missing teeth and adjacent tissues, made of acrylic resin — sometimes in combination with metal — to restore your smile, chewing ability, and speech.

Removable Dentures

About this treatment

Complete dentures replace all of the teeth on one or both arches, while partial dentures fill the spaces created by missing teeth and prevent the remaining teeth from shifting. A well-fitted denture improves chewing and speech, provides support for the facial muscles, and significantly enhances both appearance and smile.

Complete dentures are described as 'conventional' or 'immediate' depending on when they are made and inserted. Immediate dentures are placed right after the remaining teeth are removed using measurements and models taken at a preliminary visit. For added stability and chewing power, dentures can also be anchored to dental implants.

What to expect

Every visit is built around your comfort. Here's the typical journey:

  1. 1

    Impressions & measurements

We capture the precise shape of your mouth and bite at a preliminary visit.

  2. 2

    Try-in

A wax model lets us perfect the look, fit, and bite before final fabrication.

  3. 3

    Final denture

Your custom denture is crafted in acrylic resin and delivered.

  4. 4

    Follow-up adjustments

Small refinements ensure long-term comfort as you adjust to wearing it.

Is it right for you?

Removable Dentures may be a great fit if any of these apply:

  • Missing all or most of the teeth on one or both arches
  • Looking for a non-surgical replacement option
  • Wanting to restore chewing function and facial support
  • Considering implant-supported dentures for added stability
