Dental Implants
Dental implants are synthetic structures placed in the area of the tooth normally occupied by the root, acting as a foundation for a crown, bridge, or denture.

About this treatment
Before dental implants were developed, dentures were the only option for replacing missing teeth. Today, implants are anchored to the jawbone and serve as a permanent foundation for an artificial tooth, a bridge, or — in some cases — to secure a denture. They are designed to mimic the look and feel of natural teeth and are typically made of biocompatible titanium or ceramic.
Not everyone is a candidate. A successful implant requires adequate bone density, healthy gums, and a strong immune system. Surgery is used to prepare the site and place the implant, and a healing period follows so the bone can fuse around the post. A connector and final restoration are added afterward. With diligent home care, implants can last for decades.
What to expect
Every visit is built around your comfort. Here's the typical journey:
- 1
Consultation & 3D imaging
We assess bone density, take digital scans, and plan the placement precisely.
- 2
Implant placement
The titanium post is placed into the jaw under local anaesthetic.
- 3
Healing & integration
Over several months the bone fuses with the implant, creating a stable foundation.
- 4
Final restoration
A custom-shaded crown, bridge, or denture is attached to complete your smile.
Is it right for you?
Dental Implants may be a great fit if any of these apply:
- Missing one or more teeth
- Loose or uncomfortable dentures
- Healthy gums and adequate jawbone (or candidates for bone grafting)
- Looking for a permanent, low-maintenance alternative to bridges or dentures
